PurFrame wasn’t born in a boardroom. It started in the field, behind a camera, and late at night in editing suites.
Our background sits at an unusual intersection. We’re engineers by training and professional photographers and videographers by practice. Over the years, we experienced the friction of video production firsthand — hauling gear, managing complex software, and spending hours editing what often became just seconds of usable footage.
What stood out was this: while every home is different, the visual language of a great real estate or architectural video is remarkably consistent. Knowing when to push in, when to hold a frame, how to reveal space, and how to create emotion isn’t random. It’s a learned instinct.
With a growing obsession for AI and what it could unlock, we asked a simple question. Could a machine be taught to see and sequence space the way an experienced videographer does?

AI was once a novelty. Today, it’s a commodity — much like electricity became over time. Access to powerful tools is no longer the differentiator. Having electricity doesn’t make you an inventor, and having access to AI doesn’t make you a filmmaker.
The value isn’t in the raw technology itself. It’s in how you apply it — how you wire that power into systems that understand human taste, timing, and creative nuance.
We built PurFrame not to automate creativity, but to make high-quality video production more accessible. After editing hundreds of videos by hand, we translated that intuition into software that can scale without losing intention.

PurFrame exists to raise the baseline. To give creators, photographers, and real estate professionals access to techniques that were previously locked behind time, budget, and technical barriers.

Hi, I’m Matt.
I built PurFrame because I wanted it for myself. My background is a mix — photography and video work for real estate agents, interior designers, builders, and architects. All people who live and die by whether their spaces come across on screen.
It really started as an experiment. I wanted to bring one of my own property photos to life for a client who needed something a still couldn’t give them. After messing around with a handful of AI tools it hit me that this wasn’t a one-off trick. There was a real avenue here for anyone in the space, not just people with my background.
From that point my head was fixed on one thing: make this workflow accessible to anyone, regardless of skill level, without giving up the control I’d want as someone who does this for a living. If you didn’t have time to shoot video on-site. If it was rainy or windy and the drone had to stay in the bag. If the airspace was restricted. If you weren’t about to drop a thousand dollars on a gimbal and ten hours into editing and color grading. PurFrame should be there.
It’s the tool I reach for on my own listings. The goal I hold it to is simple: save realtors, photographers, videographers, designers, and builders real time and money, and put out video that actually sticks with the person watching.
